Storytime never endedThreshold Theater’s mission
Produce fresh LGBTQ+ works Threshold’s mission to produce fresh LGBTQ+ works means we create a place for the voices of the LGBTQ+ community to tell our stories no matter our sexuality, age, race, religion or gender identity through developing and producing the new scripts of living LGBTQ+ playwrights. We tell the stories of who we are, because only when we see each other do the walls of discrimination start to crumble. We cannot do this alone though, so we are calling on you to join us, the artists and audiences. |

Threshold Theater is excited to announce two new Literary Associate company members
Kate Cosgrove & Annie Hoffman
The Literary Associate company member position helps the Literary Director with the processing, reading and evaluation of scripts to help guide Threshold’s programming decisions.
Kate Cosgrove (she/her) is thrilled to be joining Threshold Theater as a Literary Associate. Kate attended the National Music Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, studied at St. Catherine's College at The University of Oxford, England, and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a BA in theater and writing in 2021. After spending a year in sunny Los Angeles, she has been excited to return to her hometown and start her career in the local theater scene. You can see her onstage in Melancholics Anonymous' upcoming production of "5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche" (May 2023).
Annie Hoffman is a lesbian writer, educator, and performer living in Minneapolis. She graduated from the dance program at the University of Minnesota, and is currently a company member with One Dance Company and an assistant instructor at Young Dance in St. Paul. In 2019, Annie’s 500 word play “Whoever She’ll Be,” written about her early experiences with queerness, was produced by Hedge Theater Company. Offstage, Annie enjoys her day job at Great River School, cups of tea, and spending time with her girlfriend.

Threshold Theater is asking for your support.
We know we are only here because of support from the community. We can't do it without you in the audience and through your generous contributions. For us to continue to produce the New Play Reading Series and our production at the end of the 2022-2023 season, we are setting a goal of $2,000. This will allow us to continue to pay all the artists we work with: writers, actors, directors and designers.
As a special thank you to our donors:
