Threshold Theater is asking for your support
As Threshold Theater enters its sixth season, our mission remains steadfast: to develop and produce new works by living LGBTQ+ playwrights. We tell the stories of who we are, because only when we see each other do the walls of discrimination begin to crumble. These stories create a welcoming space—on and off stage—for all people.
At a time when arts funding is being cut and LGBTQ+ communities face increasing challenges, our work is more vital than ever. Since our founding in 2019, we have collaborated with more than 150 artists. We know we are only here because of the support of our community, and we cannot do it without you. Gifts of any amount are deeply appreciated and make a real difference.
Your support helps us continue producing the New Play Reading Series and our stage productions, which includes ensuring that all playwrights, actors, directors, and designers are paid for their artistry.

With your generous donation, we’ll be able to produce shows and pay artists for their work. As theater artists ourselves we know the hardship it can be when asked to do a show on a volunteer basis. Often it means passing up on unique opportunities in favor of a job with a paycheck. That's why we're grateful for any donations that support us, so we can in turn support the artists we work with.
